71 REGIONAL SHOOT Bringing together a collective of innovative wedding suppliers, this inspirational shoot pays homage to London, love and weddings, Fiona Kelly reveals more Images courtesy of Fiona Kelly AN URBAN T he Culpeper in Shoreditch was the ideal venue for our urban romance theme; it has the vibe of the bygone East End but has been styled with contemporary features sympathetic to its history. The jewel in the crown is the roof-top garden with incomparable views over the City. Occasion Queens evolved the pewter colour scheme to suit the venue, softening the look and adding elegance with the use of dusky pinks in the final touches along with dark greys to bring all the elements together, helping the old-world charm of the pewter vessels and trays to sit comfortably next to the modern city scape. And talking of that London skyline, Butter Beautiful took inspiration from all those skyscrapers to create a confection to remember using the latest brush-stroke effect to complement the grey and pewter tones elsewhere. The flowers, meanwhile, were designed to temper all that concrete with Boom Blooms constructing a wild, over-sized bouquet to contrast with the built-up backdrop and selecting shades of lilac to add romance while maintaining the inner-city feel with textural and architectural flora arranged along the tables. Stationery designer Dimitra Jordan produced a clean, modern, and sophisticated suite in shades of dark grey. We chose the dress, designed by Audrey Ashley Culture, for its gentle grey tones, and fluidity – it encapsulated our urban romance theme beautifully – and model Grace’s striking auburn hair was the perfect foil. Styled by Make Up In Orangeries, both her hair and make-up was organic and wild with a matte pewter eyeshadow subtly picking up the wider scheme.  romance
