We put huge light-up letters on the dancefloor, spelling out the word ‘dance’ – our guests took it literally. Alex wore a suit from Ted Baker accessorised with a polka dot pocket square, braces and a blue tie. I fell in love with this gown from Zavana bridal – I wanted to avoid the big, princess look. In the evening, we served pork pie and cheese. My bridesmaids wore blush-pink, Grecian gowns from ASOS. However, the maid-of-honour’s zip broke as she put it on and she had to be stitched into it, making the entire bridal party late for the ceremony! 58
