IN THE PINK Hannah and Alex chose shades of rose and blush for their pretty-as-a-picture big day Images courtesy of Joasis Photography H annah and Alex met over brunch with mutual friends but, although they hit it off immediately, Hannah kyboshed any talk of romance at first. “I refused to consider the potential as Alex is seven years younger than me but his kind heart, charm and humour won me over a few months later,” she admits. And timing certainly wasn’t everything when it came to the proposal either. “I proposed at a beautiful resort in Kefalonia, although it didn’t quite go according to plan as the hotel sent champagne and rose petals at the wrong time. Luckily, it was still a surprise and Hannah burst into tears as I got down on one knee,” Alex laughs. On their return, the couple set a date for a year hence and started planning in earnest. “We wanted to get married in London as that’s where we fell in love,” Hannah reveals.
