Your body shape is likely to be described as apple if your shoulders, bust, waist and hips are fairly similar in measurement, with slightly narrower shoulders and hips. Apple Megan says, “An empire waistline creates a defined shape, while drawing the eye upwards with some gorgeous top detail. What’s more, a beautiful chiffon skirt skims over the tummy area nicely. You’ll always be your harshest critic, but as long as you feel fabulous, that’s all that really matters.” Vicky says, “Steer clear from anything that’ll cut your shape in half. Keep the detail flowing down the dress or go for something simple and elegant.” Victoria says, “We always suggest one of the following: A tea-length dress to show off your legs, a corset back to create a fabulous waistline or our favourite: a dropped waist.” Megan suggests Aurora by Kelsey Rose. Vicky suggests Maive by Stella York If you’d describe your body as “curvy” and your bust and hip measurements are roughly equal, you most likely have a hourglass figure. Hourglass Megan says, “Why not opt for a fit and flare to show off your shape. Remember though, just because you have the curves we all dream of, doesn’t mean you have to go for a figure- hugging number. Don’t be scared to wear something unexpected!” Hayley says, “Nothing enhances an hourglass figure like a fishtail; this silhouette will enhance your curves and accentuate your waist for maximum impact!” Megan suggests Ellen by Nieve Couture Victoria suggests Jasmine from Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection Hayley suggests Narine by Enzoani Vicky suggests Grace by Stella York Victoria suggests Cora by Jennifer Wren Bridal. 80
