BOUQUETS Probably the first thing that springs to mind when we think of wedding flowers, and the most traditional. Your bouquet is a way to reflect your personality by choosing your favourite blooms and those that hold special meaning to you. Hannah says, “Your bouquet will be cherished, living on via your photos and memories. They also tie the whole wedding theme together beautifully.” SELF-RAISING FLOWER Decorating your big-day bake with blooms to match your arrangements ties it together nicely with the rest of your styling. If you’re nervous about using fresh flowers, why not ask your cake-maker to replicate them in sugar paste or adorn the cake table with an arrangement transferred from the ceremony? FULLY DRESSED Fireplaces often provide a great focal point for stately-home vows, but can look conspicuously bare if left untouched by styling magic. This gorgeous arrangement by Emily&Me shows how a mantelpiece becomes a feature backdrop when properly dressed. ON A CLOUD Sam says, “Gypsophila is no longer the stuff of the 1970s. There are so many ways to use this tiny flower. Here, we’ve created a cloud at the front of a sweetheart table, but it could also be hung from above.” CHIT CHAT Hannah explains, “Table centres bring the whole wedding look together. Think about style, but height is equally important. You always want to be able to see over the display so that your guests can still talk to each other unimpeded.” Alternatively, if your heart is set on towering arrangements, make sure guests can see through the stands. 5 6 7 10 PEW COMPLETE ME Sweet little posies of flowers tied to pew ends in a church or aisle ends in your venue’s ceremony space are a lovely finishing touch. 8 9 NEAT PETITE For a rustic vibe, jars or mini-crates filled with flowers are a super-cute way to go, check out this creation by Patina & Petal. 11 www.katehennessyweddings.com for Patina & Petal Emily&Me Emily&Me Tom Keane Photography for Patina & Petal www.emmamigdenphotography.com for Patina & Petal https://luciewatsonphotography.com for Emily&Me 68
