Then later we enjoyed a wedding breakfast of apple and parsnip soup, followed by pork belly and mash, or butternut squash risotto, finished with a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The Ferry House’s catering was amazing and they were able to provide me with a different starter due to food intolerances. We went to Reykjavkik, Iceland, for four days for our honeymoon. It was somewhere that had been on both of our bucket lists before we’d even started dating. We enjoyed every second of the time we spent there, particularly the blue lagoon, which was phenomenal. Our bridesmaid wore a lace-insert pleated maxi dress in oxblood. Violinist Cristinel Bacanau played during the ceremony, wedding breakfast and our first dance. He was a hit with guests and some have even contacted us since to get his contact details. His performance was a real highlight. 56
