Your Kent Wedding -November/December 2020 (Issue 93)
89 REGIONAL SHOOT T he Lost Village of Dode provided ample inspiration for shoot coordinator Charlotte from Charlotte Laurie Designs. “It’s a magical place and feels somehow like it wasn’t built but grown from the earth,” she says. As Charlotte specialises in gorgeous alternative felt bouquets, she and the team set out to create an earthy, natural feel without using fresh flowers. “We used a felt bouquet complete with trailing ivy, and natural materials to style the tables, creating levels using old books and wood,” she explains. This was all brought together with a tree- like candelabra made by stylist Lily. Love was certainly in the air on the day, as real couple Natalie and Maxx decided to take part in an actual handfasting ceremony. They’ve since become engaged and are now planning their own special day. Congrats you guys!
