Your Kent Wedding -November/December 2020 (Issue 93)
65 REGIONAL SHOOT “I love Christmas, the warm fires and twinkly lights, as well as the inspiration for this project: mistletoe,” shoot coordinator Natasha Spencer tells us. Wondering why she’d never seen this delicate little Christmas plant featured in a romantic winter wedding bouquet, an idea came to mind. She got in touch with floral designer Lucy from Wild Bloom, to explain the grand plan and set about creating something simple, elegant and classic in keeping with the rich greens and warm whites of the season, reflecting the hues found in mistletoe. Natasha continues, “Although having a Christmas theme is wonderful, it’s important not to let seasonal styling become overpowering. A wedding is a special day that should show off your personality as a couple, and fit with your style.” Indeed, something to bear in mind, and here the team demonstrates this perfect harmony. This team of talented local suppliers created the perfect balance of Christmas and wedding elegance. Images courtesy of Anna Mathilda Photography MISTLETOE and wine L C
