It looked magical. Solo guitarist Ian Ingles played for three hours solid in the evening. He was amazing and a massive hit with our guests, who commented on how brilliant he was. He knew exactly what to play, getting everyone onto the dancefloor. He exceeded all expectations. We had some photos taken outside in the evening, the local farmer was out with the combine harvester in the fields behind us, so timing was everything! Our photographers, Bill and his wife, made us feel so relaxed. They certainly go over and above with the time and attention they give. The big-day bake was a simple two-tier affair with one layer in Madeira and the other lemon drizzle. It was decorated with fresh flowers to match the bouquet and topped with mini pumpkins, which read, “I love you” and “I know.” This was meaningful to us, as it’s an exchange we have when Lawrence calls me at work. Leave things to the experts when you can – they know what they’re doing. For us it was lovely having surprises on the day. REAL WEDDINGS 57 
