Everything was a huge hit with guests, who particularly loved the glitter face paint, which was an unusual touch. The plan was to go travelling for six months, visiting Vietnam, Cambodia, Bali, Phillippines, Australia and Fiji, but we found out we were expecting our first bundle of joy, so we’re postponing and going for a shorter trip. Our four-tier cake was decorated with macramé and foliage. The first tier was flavoured with peaches, cream and prosecco, the second was red velvet, the third chocolate and the last Victoria sponge. In the evening, we all enjoyed a grazing table. 46
