Your Kent Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue 89)
67 REGIONAL SHOOT Two historical eras meet in this display of individuality and personal flair Images courtesy of Samantha Jones Photography T he Hythe Imperial Hotel immediately sprung to mind when hair stylist and make-up artist Ellen Dalton was looking for the dream location to suit her vision. “The glamour of the Art Deco era and the oh-so hip 1950s look simply had to be shot at a venue that screamed opulence, and The Hythe Imperial with its ballroom and Moët & Chandon Champagne bar was perfect.” She continues, “We ensured the hair, make-up and accessories were in keeping with the time periods we chose, and went full-on glam with the venue styling, flowers and cake.” We love how these images show the character of both brides, as they wear their signature styles in a complementary and personality-filled way. With the ever-increasing trend in weddings that are as individual as the pair they’re designed to celebrate, this shoot shows us how to do it with flair and panache. BE- you -TIFUL
