The food was a big talking point with our guests. We also hired a bar from The Dawdling Duck, who served the drinks from a horsebox, which went really well with our venue and theme. Being teachers, we had a quiz at the table during dinner, which we then had to mark. In the evening, we hired a band called Pop Rocks who played all sorts of genres to keep our guests entertained. They even staged a dance-off! As we were sat enjoying the wedding breakfast, we both looked at each other, and couldn’t believe it was actually our wedding day. It was nice to be able to sit back and take in the moment, as it all goes by so quickly. Our final memory of the big day was seeing all of our guests lined up in the dark, waving us off with sparklers as we drove away. It’s something that will stay with us forever. 64
