Made from a single knotted piece of precious metal, with no beginning and no end, this very special ring symbolises everlasting union. With a choice of sterling silver, gold, white gold, palladium and platinum, you can add an extra touch and personalise your ring with a gemstone, making it a beautiful gift. The aim of Gift of a Wedding is to give couples affected by terminal illness, who wish to say “I do,” the opportunity to do so. It’s with the help and generosity of the wedding industry and volunteers that they can hope to achieve this. The ‘Link of Love’ charity ring is available to purchase from customandco.com from £19.99, with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the charity. DINE LIKE ROYALTY Celebrating 21 years in business Debbie Green of Chives the Caterer was already feeling suitably proud of everything the business had achieved when the opportunity arose to cater for the RBLI’s centenary lunch. Little did she know this would turn out to be the most important event of her career. Debbie explains, “The initial meeting was just like any other: A three-course lunch for 100 people, very straightforward. Then we got the call to inform us that the guest of honour would be HM the Queen!” Three weeks of sleepless nights followed for Debbie as the pressure was on to ensure both food and service were perfect. She told us, “The biggest logistical question was who would serve the Queen. It was eventually decided that it should be me and clearing the first plate before carrying the main course to Her Majesty was the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever done!” To find out more about having Chives cater your wedding, check out chivescaterers.co.uk Strength to strength In 2020 David King Photographer is celebrating 20 years in the wedding industry.
