Your Kent Wedding - Nov/Dec 2019 (Issue 87)
We used luggage tags for the place names and tied them to the chair backs. We numbered the tables and put a selfie kit on each one. DJ Josh Carvalho played chilled house music outdoors during the day. Everyone was dancing in the sun and having drinks from the bar while the photos were being taken. It felt like we were in Ibiza – it was amazing! I designed the table plan and got it printed on vinyl, which I then stuck to an antique mirror. Our centrepieces were large glass pillar vases filled with twigs and white hydrangeas. Our favours were Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The individual boxes were cute and looked great on the tables. The flowers were kept simple to work with the theme. My bouquet was a mix of white roses to complement the top table display, and the bridesmaids had three simple roses with greenery. We have a lot of keen bakers within our family and circle of friends, so we issued an open invitation to bake our wedding cake and dessert. We labelled each with the baker’s name, how they knew us and what the cake was. REAL WEDDINGS 47
