Your Kent Wedding - Sep/Oct 2019 (Issue 76)
It was important to both of us to get married in the churches that raised us, so the plan was to have one wedding in Sarasota in April and a blessing and reception in Kent. I fell in love with Mount Ephraim Gardens for our reception venue and felt it captured our desire to make it a beautiful, casual summer garden party. Our favours were little flowerpots containing pansies and labeled with guests’ names. These kept to the garden theme and were something that would last beyond the day itself. I relied heavily on our florist, Lucy from Wild Bloom, to create the summer garden party theme, and she didn’t disappoint! Her mix of centrepiece jars, small floral details added throughout the house, coupled with a stunning moon gate floral arch were all thematically important to the day. I wore Olivia by Rebecca Ingram, which was accessorised with earrings and a bracelet from my aunt and a blue necklace wound around my bouquet, which belonged to my grandmother. Robert wore a grey DKNY suit. 54
