My bridesmaids wore long dresses with a mesh top in pale pink. Alex’s friend Shaz made our wedding cake. It was a four-tier bake and included lemon and raspberry almond, with the top tier being vegan. Canapés were served during the speeches, and we had barbecue food available while everyone was enjoying the fun fair. In the evening, we enjoyed a hog roast. All of the food was amazing. The venue was already so beautiful that we didn’t need to add much. We hired a sweet cart and had a tree to which guests added their thumbprints to form the leaves. It was great to have the vintage fair on the day, as our guests were kept entertained while the photos were being taken. I arrived in style in a 1938 Lammas Graham. REAL WEDDINGS 63
