Lucky number H annah and James met aged 13 on Friday, 13 th February, at a school disco. With James at the local boys’ school and Hannah a student at the girls’, they shared a lot of mutual friends and began spending more and more time in each other’s company. Over time, they became best friends, which formed the strong foundation for their relationship. James proposed while the pair were holidaying in Dubai, 13 years after they met. They were enjoying pre-dinner drinks in the hotel bar on their second night when James excused himself to visit the bathroom. While he was gone, a member of staff presented Hannah with a red rose and an envelope. Inside was a letter from James with instructions to go to the rooftop, where he would be waiting. She arrived to a super- romantic scene, with fairylights and James on one knee with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a small heart-shaped ring box.
