She says: “I made the slightly crazy decision to hand-make all of the bouquets, decorations and flowers. I really wanted to incorporate my love for craft and create something that would stand out.” All of the flowers are handmade using wool felt and the quirkiest buttons Charlotte can lay her hands on. She delights in helping couples create individual pieces to reflect their personalities. She told us: “It’s a real collaboration between myself and my clients. Having added a number of other crafts to her repertoire of skills over the years, including beading, silk printing and origami, she decided to go back to millinery a little over two years ago, and Alucci Fred Milinery began. Jo makes all of her hats, fascinators, headpieces and hair vines by hand. Each piece is a bespoke design made to clients’ specifications following an initial consultation. Once your measurements have been taken, you’ll be able to try on some hats to see what shape suits you best. Jo will then get to work, and you’ll see her again at least six weeks prior to the wedding and then once more two weeks before for adjustments. Et voila! Your very own super-stylish creation.
