Your Kent Wedding - May/Jun 2019 (Issue 84)

Our dream of a relaxed garden party reception did mean that we needed to plan every aspect of the day ourselves, but luckily Kent has a vast array of wedding suppliers, and we were impressed with what we booked. Our suppliers were incredibly helpful and communicative, so the day went off without a hitch. Our caterer was so helpful, not just with our amazing menu tailored to our taste but also in planning all the hire for dressing the marquee to staffing the bar late into the evening. The MINI photo booth left us with a fabulous collection of ridiculous photos! The Lion Men were the perfect folk-pop style and had everyone on the dancefloor all night – even when they were packing up! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect day. Everyone was so relaxed and happy, helped by the most perfect summer weather. My top tip for planning your perfect Kent wedding is: Do your research! Attend a few wedding shows – they all have different suppliers – and download Pinterest. On the day, just relax and enjoy every second of it.
