To decorate the reception space, we chose giant love letters. Our flowers were white tulips provided by Rose Garden Florist. They were beautiful! Scott always buys me tulips, so even though we had an August wedding, we had to have tulips. For our food, we chose to have a barbecue and canapés provided by The Ferry House. We’d booked several venue viewings and The Ferry House was actually our first one. We walked in and were greeted by a very friendly wedding coordinator, who showed us the entire property and helped us figure out what it was that we actually wanted. We both knew immediately that The Ferry House was the one for us. We had the feeling that is so often talked about but so difficult to describe. We just knew it was perfect. To decorate the venue, we had a beautiful ceremony arch provided by Crystal Carriage Weddings & Events Hire. We also made signage ourselves and everything else was provided and set up by the team at The Ferry House. For our centrepieces, we used log slices, provided by The Ferry House, and added empty rum bottles with lights inside and photos from our engagement shoot. They were so personal and perfectly us. 48
