Richard opted for a suit from The Centre in Paddock Wood, Kent. One of our favourite moments was seeing our children walking down the aisle. We were very excited on the morning of the wedding to be getting married after 14 years together. We purchased the bridesmaids’ gowns from Next. To keep our guests entertained, we had lawn games, and a DJ from TPM Events. Craig, our toastmaster and usher, helped make our day run smoothly. I wore a Maggie Sottero gown called Mirra from Alta Costura Bride. I accessorised with a friend’s veil and brought a bracelet with Richard’s initials on it and the date of our wedding. For our honeymoon, we went to London for the night. We saw ABBA Voyage, visited a rooftop bar, and then went for dinner, which Richard had planned as a surprise. REAL WEDDINGS 37
