We handmade wedding favours as a family activity, pressing a custom initial food stamp from Etsy onto icing and applying it to shortbread biscuits that we placed into individual packets. We placed framed pictures of our parents and grandparents on their wedding days throughout the bar area, a memorial to those who are no longer with us and we included a special tribute to Hayley’s late father. Scott Anderson Ltd provided our food. They are truly one of the best in Kent and their food and service are impeccable. After the main meal, pizza paddles were served to refuel the guests. Hayley arrived at Oad St Weddings in her favourite car, a beautiful vintage white VW Beetle provided by Dawn at VW Brides in Canterbury. The external styling was completed by local wedding stylist J’s Perfections Weddings and Occasions, who used a mixture of green foliage and white roses to match Hayley’s bouquet and flower crown. We also made dog treats and cat treat bags for guests to take home for their pets as a gift from our Siamese cat Hendrix and pug Bodhi. 36
