We didn’t even know they were there most of the time. Our cake took the form of castle with Disney and Harry Potter touches, there was even a wreath around the door. Karen, our cake designer, couldn’t have got it any better if she tried! I went in with an over-the-top idea and she pulled it off! We felt nervous on the day, but so excited to see everyone coming together. It was like all the hard work and worries of Covid didn’t matter any more, as we finally got to have our big day with the people we love. “We took a mini-moon to Edinburgh straight after the wedding, which was magical with the Christmas markets and Harry Potter experience. We’re off to Costa Rica soon for our main honeymoon and I can’t wait to explore the jungles.” Guests loved the hot chocolate and sweet table! We had a DJ and a magic mirror, keeping to our Disney theme. It was a hit with our guests as it was something they hadn’t seen before, being more used to a standard photo booth. 48
