love It was love at first click for Lora and Rachel who were married at The Ferry House, Sheerness Images courtesy of Lemon Feather Photography LOCKDOWN Lora and Rachel’s is a modern love story, having met on Tinder in 2020. “We’d only been chatting for a week when the first lockdown was announced, and since we both lived alone and had been furloughed, we decided to quarantine together,” Lora tells us. During that time, they never left each other’s sides. They discovered similar life experiences and immediately clicked. “We both said that even if there hadn’t been a romantic attraction, we’d likely still have been great friends,” Lora shares. So sure was Lora that Rachel was the one, she purchased the ring three days into their relationship. She’d planned to propose when their respective families came to visit, but the continuing lockdowns scuppered that idea, so she popped the question, just the two of them, at home. Rachel proposed back a few months later on New Year’s Day. “We’d hoped to go for a walk but it was absolutely freezing, so ended up eating a car picnic before she gave me the ring,” Lora remembers.
