Your Kent Wedding - March/April 2022 (Issue 101)

I tried on a few different gowns but fell in love with the beautiful petal details of Stephanie Allin’s Monroe. I loved the movement and freedom of some designs that featured a side split though, so I had it customised slightly to include one. We had a lot of different activities and entertainment throughout the day from axe-throwing with an instructor straight after the ceremony to a live band and cocktails in the evening. The bridesmaids all chose the same dress, a teal floor-length, A-line silhouette with a silk-tie waist detail and keyhole opening at the back. Dan wore a classic black tuxedo with a waistcoat. His groomsmen wore the same, but accessorised with braces rather than a waistcoat. “Make sure the people you choose to have around you on the day are the ones who’ll make you happy and share in the fun and joy. Don’t feel obliged to involve certain people due to family and friend politics.” – Scarlett REAL WEDDING 45
