The former stables, bull pen and milking parlour have also been converted to accommodate caterers, new loos and there’s a pretty and spacious room just for the bridal party too! With a large, grassy area surrounding the ancient granary, you and your loved ones can sit out on the vintage outdoor furniture and enjoy the beautiful country views. Most ceremonies take place in Long Barn 1, which looks majestic filled with trees, ivy and flowers. The buildings are interconnected and the first barn can be transformed while you eat to create the perfect space for relaxing and dancing the night away afterwards! For winter weddings, the cosy Old Barn is licensed for 70 guests and is ideal for more intimate affairs and there are other pretty rooms licensed for ceremonies for anything from six to 14 people. Couples can host an al fresco drinks reception in the garden and when it comes to the big-day décor, the venue has plenty of accessories and props to choose from. Eco-friendly too, the team grows a lot of its own flowers and plants and aims to ensure as many of the cut blooms as possible come from local growers in order to reduce the carbon footprint of their weddings. Set in a beautiful historic area, although the venue isn’t licensed for ceremonies, it’s an idyllic spot with rustic barns, fields, plenty of parking and camping space for a relaxed al fresco celebration. With a wealth of picture-perfect locations, you can have your own personal outdoor service and host a reception for around 100 guests in the barns or more out in the fields.
