Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 81)
83 PHOTO SHOOT FARM-FEST Rip up the rule book and celebrate your day your way Images courtesy of Weddings by ABC T he moral to this fun shoot is not to be scared to get creative – be brave and unconventional! With a wide open space, straw and hay bales, not to mention pygmy goats at Hampshire's Abbey Farm, Titchfield, there was plenty of scope to put the theory into practice. “Having transformed the field for their own wedding reception, owners Barry and Nicola were keen to hire it out to other couples looking for a blank canvas for their big day,” she explains. Hair and make-up artist Lucy Bernier first approached her about doing the shoot and after chatting through some ideas they were excited to get stuck in. “I'm always keen to show couples that there are no hard and fast rules when planning their wedding and that they really can create whatever they like,” explains Natasha. They used two huge hay bales to create a backdrop for standout photos and smaller straw ones for different props, including a ceremony arch, sofa, seating and table plan display. “Combined with beautiful handmade dresses, one-off tiaras, tailored suit, bridal boots, rustic props, stunning flowers and a festival-style cake and more; our Farm-Fest styled shoot had it all!” adds Natasha.
