We put out a Polaroid camera and everyone loved it. The LowDown band were recommended by a close friend and were a massive hit. They played acoustic music during the drinks reception and in the evening got everyone up on their feet dancing all night long – it was incredible to see. We had some giant LOVE letters in the ceremony marquee. The hire company was brilliant and came out and moved them for the evening celebration. BRIDE’S TOP TIP Don’t stress about the weather. The week before our wedding the forecast didn’t look great. We checked every day and although it helped us prepare and talk to suppliers, it wasn’t worth worrying about. Our day was perfect, the rain came and went plus it’s meant to be lucky if it rains on your wedding day! “We had to have the barbecue inside as the weather wasn’t great. It couldn’t have been better though, the staff were brilliant and there was plenty of food and choice.”
