Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 81)

REAL WEDDINGS 41  We had large silver lanterns as centrepieces surrounded by eucalyptus and roses, the same as my bouquet. Simply Flower decorated the marquee with hanging lanterns and wrapped foliage around the poles. Our beautiful three-tier cake was made by family friend Jean Jones. It was decorated with blooms to match the wedding flowers and topped with a wooden love sign. Our table plan was a floral map of the USA with luggage labels pointing to the different tables. The tables were named after places we’ve been to in the States including New Orleans for the top table and California in honour of our six friends who flew over from there to be with us on the day. “A magician entertained guests during the wedding breakfast. He was brilliant and went around each table doing close-up tricks.”
