Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 81)
We had some amazing paper flowers and foliage made for the church and a paper flower frame for our photo-booth guest book too. We had four tall centrepieces and used the bridesmaids’ bouquets for the others with a low cascading arrangement for the top table. The flowers were predominantly white with roses and lots of greenery for that classic feel complemented by our peach and coral colour scheme. The drinks reception in the gardens was one of our favourite parts of the day. The weather was beautiful and all our guests were milling around chatting, enjoying prosecco and canapés while we were having our photos done. The tables were named after ski lifts and runs from our favourite resort in France. We went for a help-yourself favour table as we wanted to keep the place settings really crisp and classic but also give our guests something personal. Matthew handmade around 250 shortbread hearts in the run-up to the wedding and we had peach fizz sweeties too. 30
