With glorious countryside views and gardens it provided the perfect blank canvas for local suppliers to realise their vision for a magical boho-chic outdoor ceremony. Suzanne Killalea, creative director and owner of Hampshire-based Ask Weddings and Events, came up with the concept for the shoot with modern, free-thinking couples in mind; those looking for a more personalised, alternative-style wedding with the flexibility to create something totally bespoke. “I wanted to focus on celebrant weddings, creating an outdoor ceremony and utilising the venues main allure; its architectural features and gardens, highlighting that with this type of service, you can marry absolutely anywhere,” explains Suzanne. The French bohemian styling married well with the surroundings and the chateaux-style architecture of Minley Manor. Based on a palette of blue grey, pale pink and beige tones, the colour scheme was designed to complement the manor’s slate roofs and other elements of the building. “Pampas grass featured heavily to lighten and lift the red-brick exterior walls and exude the bohemian vibe,” adds Suzanne.
