She says, “Using a medium coverage foundation as a base, I applied a cream blush to the cheeks and lips for a delicate flush of colour and soft, neutral eyeshadows to keep the effect natural and bright. To switch it up I added a bold lipstick, a touch of contour, kohl eyeliner pencil and a flutter of lashes for a more rebellious effect!” SOFT AND ROMANTIC DARK AND DARING Rachel says: ❤ Buff your favourite foundation on to the skin over a primer suitable for your comlexion. I used Bobbi Brown Face Base Primer and MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. ❤ Apply Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge to the apples of the cheeks and on the lips. ❤ Prime eyelids with Painterly MAC Paint Pot. ❤ Use a light eyeshadow all over the lid, followed by a slightly darker, taupe brown to the outer third and into the crease. Run this colour through the lower lashes too. Take a shimmer shade and apply with a finger to the middle and inner part of the lid. I used the MAC Art Library: Nude Model palette ❤ Lightly apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes. Rachel says: ❤ Ramp up the glamour with a bold lip using a red lipstick, such as MAC Party Line, tap lightly on to the cheeks and blend to give a matching blush. ❤ Using a cool-toned contour powder, sweep under the cheekbones up to the ear to add depth and definition to the face. ❤ Apply a dark brown eyeshadow to the whole lid up to the crease, adding a darker brown or black to the outer third only. Sweep and blend the colours through and slightly under the lower lash line. ❤ Enhance the drama with a black Maybeline gel liner to the upper lash line and black kohl pencil to the lower water line. ❤ For the finishing touch use Ardell Wispies lashes.
