Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - May/June 2020 (Issue 80)

Tom’s nan made our wedding cake. It looked the part and tasted great! My friend Sally made the favours, heart- shaped gingerbread biscuits stamped with our initials and the wedding date, which added a lovely personal touch to the tables. Tom and I spent many weekends sanding down and painting pallets to use for the rustic table plan and signage and the table plan. Tom got his suit made when were on holiday in Vietnam in February 2018 so he had more than a year to not put on or lose any weight! We hired blue suits in a slightly different shade for the groomsmen and my three sisters, who were bridesmaids, wore long dresses to go with our burgundy colour scheme. Our photographers Seb and Dave were awesome. They were really patient with me as I really wanted some shots by the coast, and they were happy to oblige.
