SIMPLY STYLISH A fter first setting eyes on each other, it took Karla and Chris a while to pluck up the courage to start up a conversation. “We met in 2006, at the time I was working in a salon on the same street where Chris worked,” explains Karla. “He clocked me a few times but we were both too nervous to start talking until we bumped into each other at a club.” Romance blossomed and Chris popped the question 10 years later while they were staying at the St Brelade’s Bay Hotel in Jersey. “Without me knowing, he arranged a private dining experience overlooking the bay for the proposal. Jersey will always be a special place for us now and we plan to go back there for our first wedding anniversary,” adds Karla. Read on for her account of their big day...
