Guests put on their comfy clothes and we had a nice family time. “It was everything we wanted; a simple getaway and the bringing together of two families. Having such a relaxed weekend meant that everyone could get to know each other.” We stayed in a shepherd hut in the grounds on our wedding night. We lit the log burner and sat on the step sipping champagne and gazing at the stars. “We loved David’s style of photography and he had some great ideas, like getting the children to gather tree blossom to use as confetti.” We all enjoyed the exquisite grounds, which included a separate lodge, two shepherd huts, as well as a swimming pool and a maze. “Local produce was a must for us and to cater for all, from vegans to carnivores. Rebecca Green provided our lovely meal and was a true superstar!”
