Waffles and pancakes went down a storm in the evening and everyone just relaxed and sat around in the apple orchard as the sun set. Our guests wrote messages on ivory hearts and hung them on the wishing tree. We had delicious cupcakes on a rustic wooden cake stand that my dad made. The favours were beautiful hand-painted champagne glasses personalised for our guests to double up as place names. The children had tumblers with chocolate hearts to enjoy. “Ward Smith performed music sets throughout the evening and sung our first dance song You Are The Reason in the barn as we’d prepared a special dance. The band then moved outside as it was such a hot night.”
