Your Hampshire & Dorset Wedding - May/June 2019 (Issue 74)

We had purple horseshoe and orange heart bunting strung across the barn from the high beams. Andy and his best man stood out in blue tweed suits and waistcoats with orange and purple paisley ties. The rest of the groomsmen had buttonholes, pocket squares and ties to match and chose their own navy blue suits. For the reception, the barn was transformed from a workshop into a rustic haven over a number of months and the gardens, with all the beautiful walkways and arches, were really magical. The tables were named after different breeds of horses in keeping with our hearts and horseshoes theme. The table plan matched our colour scheme and was displayed at the entrance to the barn. Our photographer went above and beyond to get the perfect photos. She drove us back to the cornfields surrounding the church to get some extra shots that we wanted – despite the incredible heat!
