Your Hampshire & Dorset Wedding - May/June 2019 (Issue 74)
54 Getting married at St Hubert’s was really special as we often drive past it. It’s a 16 th -century church, perched high on a hill with stunning views of the Hampshire countryside and the fields beyond where I keep my horse. My bouquet was made of fresh purple and artificial orange flowers mixed with greenery. A beautiful white carriage took me and our daughters from my mum’s house to the church. The two white Andalusian horses had purple and orange plumes in their headgear and the carriage was trimmed with ribbons. I chose my White One dress after lots of trying on and much debate. It was an off-white A-line design with a small train at the back, lace surround and a slight heart-shape at the front. The table centrepieces included orange, purple and white flowers in simple wicker pots with a scattering of heart and horseshoe confetti. “We were lucky enough to find our private venue through a friend of a friend.” “We had a wooden skittle alley on the tennis courts, garden games and croquet to play on the lawn.”
