I loved having our photos taken during golden hour as it was time for us to soak in the day.” A funny moment from the wedding was when Ant took his bride’s garter off after the first dance and actually threw it aside, losing it! No one knew where it went, as the venue said they didn’t find it anywhere during the clean-up. Kaana didn’t realise until the next morning. However, she couldn’t be cross with him, as the video footage is so funny! So many people went above and beyond to ensure the couple had the perfect day! Both families are very close, so they didn’t see it as ‘Ant’s side’ and ‘Kaana’s side’— just one big family! Without them, it wouldn’t have been possible to have such an incredible wedding. HONEYMOON The couple went to Mexico for two weeks for their honeymoon! Ant planned most of it, as he always does with holidays. The bride says, “We did enjoy it but did struggle to lay on the beach all day, as you should on your honeymoon, as we’re used to really active holidays. We used it to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Xcaret and Isla Mujeres were both stunning, and we often discuss these as being our honeymoon’s best parts. Swimming with Dolphins at Xcaret in particular was just amazing!” 48
