Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - September/October 2024 (Issue 106)

This laid-back, festival-themed photoshoot included glitter balls and a delightful picnic Images courtesy of Lucylou Photography Boho babe Natasha Gilchrist from Tasha Mae Wedding Co-ordinator recently launched her new prop business, Mae & Maple Prop & Décor Hire, featuring rescued and sustainable props. After meeting with Oonagh Langrishe-Vernon, the venue coordinator of Quarry Woods on the Fonthill Estate, they organised a styled shoot to showcase the serene and peaceful setting for DIY weddings. They collaborated with a talented team of wedding suppliers to capture the boho and festival vibe that Natasha aimed for. The result was a comfortable and inviting space among the trees, adorned with boho rugs, plush cushions, hanging rattan lanterns and floral meadow boxes, creating a touch of natural beauty. Bringing in the glitter balls added that sparkle, which complemented the floral arrangements down the aisle and the hanging table plan in the trees. The open-top glitter balls were a must, so hanging them from the wooden ceremony arch filled with bright and beautiful floral arrangements seemed the obvious idea, which worked perfectly overlooking the lake. The laid-back atmosphere was perfect for the cosy picnic! 51 REGIONAL SHOOT
