We used Taddle Farm for our tables, chairs, some outside seating and for outdoor lighting. We went for simple festoon lighting throughout, a disco ball and a fairylight backdrop for the band. We also commissioned Day Dreamer Creative Studio to make two flags for us that we hung on the farm doors, with ‘You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine’ and the date of our wedding. We chose this quote as it’s a song my granny and my mum sung to me, and that Greg and I sing to our little boy. These flags are truly unique and linked into the disco-vibe we wanted - they’re now hanging in our living room! We hired a few items from Winterborne Hire and Styling, including brass lanterns, macrame hangings and fabulous disco balls – boho-chic disco-vibes! My oldest sister painted a beautiful welcome sign, which you can see in the photos, which is now up in our kitchen. This linked with how we met ‘All because two people swiped right’. My mum created our place and table names with the same dried flowers we used for the table plan – it was an effective way to link everything together. My parents-in-law made wooden place name holders, and table numbers, keeping the natural look. We asked our supplier to create a cake with wildflowers to match our theme – it was beautiful! We went for four tiers in our favourite flavours: raspberry and white chocolate, lemon, coffee and walnut, and biscoff. 44
