Depending on how damaged your hair is, a protein treatment is your best bet to treat hair quickly because protein is the building block of healthy hair. Opt for a gown with a flowing and softer silhouette to achieve the illusion of height, such as an empire, A-line, sheath, or column dress. Wearing a long and fairytale-style train will also help create a lengthening effect. Dresses with a plunging neckline work well to lengthen your silhouette, but avoid too much volume or detailing as this tends to shorten the overall shape of gowns. Avoid straight across or strapless necklines and exaggerated mermaid or fishtail styles clinched horizontally across the skirt. Another way to achieve extra height would be high heels, perhaps a stylish wedge for extra stability. Add a hairstyle with a bit of height at the crown to add a few extra inches.
