We had a memory ladder, a postbox, a sweet table and a guestbook dotted around the venue. Our centrepieces included birdcages with petals and 3D butterfly details on top of wooden logs. My dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer back in November 2020; it was Christmas day and the most special gift I could ha ve asked my dad for was to walk me down the aisle – he was so emotional and hap py. Ever since I was a little girl, it was my dream to have my dad give me away to so meone special. Sadly, we lost him in January, and we moved our wedding date from February to August. The flowers on the day consisted of gypsophila and roses. The White Horse Tea Green’s setting is beautiful and meant we wouldn’t need to do much in regards to décor. Our advice for other couples would be to enjoy every moment of the day, it’s your wedding and don’t feel pressured to do or change anything. 32
