Your Herts and Beds Wedding - Page number 83 - June/July 2021 (Issue 86)
www.rafe abrook.co.uk Rafe says: The infamous pencil paintings at The Farmhouse at Redcoats have been captured by many wedding photographers. For me, it was the constant failure of Rorie and Gemma attempting the look that really made this image. The image was timed deliberately so the natural light from the windows lit the scene beautifully. www.abs olutephotouk.com Howard says: It’s not often you see pets at weddings and I was amazed to see this couple bring not just their dogs, but their horse as well! This image sums up the tricky job of getting humans and animals to pose together – I’m hoping to see more pets at weddings in the future! www.ang elswithdirtyfacesphotography.com Denise says: I adore this natural and beautiful moment I captured of a bride and her grandmother. The emotion from the grandmother as she squeezes her granddaughter is the focus of the image, a moment that could have gone undocumented. www.am ymurphyphotography.co.uk Amy says: This simple photograph encapsulates that love is love no matter what your sexual orientation is, your gender, skin colour or religion. Taken at my first same-sex wedding in 2019, I was so welcomed by everyone there and the day was full of happy memories! www.3ap hotography.com Antony says: I love this photo of a blushing bride admiring herself in a hand-held mirror as she gets ready for her wedding. This photo captures the first time she sees herself with her hair and make-up complete, wearing her tiara like a fairytale princess and reflecting on the day ahead. www.rafe abrook.co.uk Rafe says: There are first dances and there’s Jack and Rosie’s first dance at South Farm in February, 2019. Luckily, you couldn’t hear the sound of Jack’s trousers shredding over the band’s music. Only by setting up my lighting in such a certain way can I ensure these special moments aren’t missed.
