Your Herts and Beds Wedding - April/May 2021 (Issue 85)
43 REGIONAL SHOOT The Gaddesden Estate was the perfect backdrop to this beautiful shoot Images courtesy of Sally Masson Photography and Claire Connold Photography L ocated in Hertfordshire, The Gaddesden Estate is an outdoor venue which offers couples exceptional locations for beautiful receptions and dreamy photographs. The brains behind the shoot, Louise Barcock at Big Green Space was inspired by the different elements of the venue including the formal gardens at the Golden Parsonage, a sunken garden known as Fishponds and a wildflower meadow which backs onto the original walled garden. With help from other talented suppliers, the team created this stunning shoot full of wedding inspiration. Louise says, “Fishponds is set in a Medieval sunken garden and the trees create an intimate feel with branches hanging over the long table. The natural wood furniture, unstructured florals, crystal chandeliers and glassware creates a real inside/outside feel. The opulent table in Badgers Garden was a nod to the glamorous parties held in the Golden Parsonage, the 18 th -century house at the heart of the estate, with styling that reflects the history of the property perfectly. A marquee was set up in the Walled Garden Meadow, inspired by the romantic space and the garden’s gorgeous florals.” The shoot is the perfect way to show how beautiful weddings can be achieved no matter what budget couples are working with as the venue has multiple options available for the special day.
