Conor says, “I was instantly attracted to her; she was beautiful and extremely friendly. I made sure to sit near her before the presentation started. I felt that we hit it off and I continued attending these functions every week so I could see Holly more.” After a few weeks, Conor plucked up the courage to ask her on a date. He knew she was special as he had never felt that nervous asking someone out before. He comments, “She is so thoughtful and brings out the best in me.” Conor popped the question in Cambridge near a beautiful river next to Darwin College. He says, “I created a story about buying a new car from a guy called Paul and planned to go for lunch beforehand – this was where I was going to propose. However, Holly wanted us to get the car first and I was panicking the whole journey thinking I would have to convince a guy to pretend to be named Paul to not give anything away. Luckily, I managed to convince Holly that he couldn’t see us until three. The proposal was very private on a snowy day and I had never been happier when she said yes.” Here Conor shares details about their special day... REAL WEDDINGS 39
