Your Herts and Beds Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 80)

A part that stood out to me was seeing Rob at the end of the aisle and how he looked at me, as well as our first dance. The speeches from the best man and my maid-of-honour were amazing and very heartfelt. The day was made extra special by having our relatives who had travelled so far to be with us, some even flew in from different countries. We both felt nervous and elated, it was the happiest day, which was so worth it! Our cake was amazing, it was Beauty and the Beast-themed and we had different flavoured cupcakes such as vanilla, toffee and chocolate orange. On the day, I was so nervous as this was it and all the planning plus preparation was finally over – I felt like an absolute princess. The top table also had some little pots of flowers as well as lanterns with Disney figure silhouettes on them that I had made along with normal lanterns when walking up the aisle. REAL WEDDINGS 39 
