Your Herts and Beds Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 80)
We had scouted lots of venues and looked at prices to ensure that we could afford it and make the day the best it could be. The table plan was quite difficult as we had a couple of people not able to come last minute but I tried to be as strategic as I could be with this. We spent a bit more on the flowers as we wanted a few more decorations and we had slightly bigger numbers in terms of the bridal party and groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore long flowing dresses, which were periwinkle blue from Dorothy Perkins. Our theme was Disney, which I’ve loved since I was a little girl, the tables had flowers in large martini glasses and framed quotes referencing the film the table was named after – for example, Beauty and The Beast. Rob wore a tailor-made suit, which had a different colour tie and was a lighter grey than the rest of the groomsmen – he definitely stood out! 38
