The bride will meet with Caroline in her friendly and relaxed home studio to discuss the vision and ideas and from there she’ll design an exclusive gown. A toile (mock-up) of the dress will be fitted on the bride at various stages, providing plenty of opportunity to approve the fit and the overall look. For local weddings Caroline can come on the morning of the big day to help dress the bride. The designer… After working for various London fashion houses, Caroline established her bespoke wedding and evening dress business in 2000. She loves getting to know the client and listening to her individual requirements and preferences, and personally working on every stage of her dream dress, from design concept through to hand-beading. Price range… Prices start at £800. Most designs can be amended or simplified to suit a budget, but equally for something fantastical, the sky’s the limit! Caroline’s top tip… When you attend your consultation, take pictures of design ideas, your favourite dress from your wardrobe and images of other aspects of your wedding. Wear the bra and shoes that you intend to wear on your big day to all fittings and take up to two friends or family members if you feel they can help with decisions. The beautiful barn setting, stunning dresses and friendly, knowledgeable team all come together to make sure brides feel special, relaxed and sure to find the perfect gown. All styles are stocked from fish tails to ballgowns, plain to lace and sparkles – each and every one as beautiful. Price range… Dresses to order in are priced from £700 to £2,000. There’s a large selection of sample gowns that can be purchased off the rail with prices starting at £300. Accessories… There’s a gorgeous range of accessories from glitzy tiaras to delicate floral vines and veils. Ivory & Lace also stock hoops, storage/ travel boxes and bridesmaid dresses.
