POETRY IN South Farm set the scene for Rosie and Jack’s nuptials Images courtesy of Rafe Abrook Photography J ack first noticed Rosie at a company conference. “She was wearing a bright red T-shirt and jeans and couldn’t have looked more naturally stunning,” he says. “I was keen to speak to her but every time I tried she was talking and laughing with other people, so it took a while for me to get to know her.” Once they eventually got chatting they hit it off and the rest is history. When it came to the proposal, Rosie explains how Jack planned it to perfection. “He’d spent months designing the ring with his godfather who deals in precious stones in London, but despite being rubbish at keeping secrets it was a complete surprise,” she says. They’d been viewing houses one morning and Jack had told Rosie that they were going for a fancy dinner later that day. “After the viewings he insisted on going for a walk before we set off for our night out. Beautiful ancient trees surrounded us when Jack stopped to read a poem he’d written about me. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him – it was lovely,” she says. “The rest of the day was a mad rush of adrenaline, lots of laughing and Facetime calls. We then went to Le Manoir where Jack surprised me with a tasting menu and a weekend at the hotel.” Here, Rosie tells us more about their day… Rosie Eade, 29, married Jack de Courcy Robinson, 33 at South Farm on 23 rd February, 2019. motion 61  REAL WEDDINGS
